Live GraffitAid Wall

About

NGO MAAST, based out of Goa, was founded in 2005. The initial thrust of the activities was to create awareness about HIV/AIDS in radically different ways through entertainment, sports, and fun-oriented activities. GRAFFITAIDS, a novel HIV/AIDS awareness campaign, was launched by the then Goa Governor S.C. Jamir at a colorful function featuring top celebrities from the music, fashion, TV, and Bollywood industries.

A book on the campaign, ‘GRAFFITAIDS’, supported by the Government of Goa, was also published. This book, containing graffiti using humor as the main medium, was distributed far and wide in schools, colleges, workplaces, etc.

Since then, MAAST has been organizing various activities towards these objectives. In the last few years, MAAST has also branched out to other social causes like hunger, malnutrition, old age, homelessness, etc.
