Indigenous communities are disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS, yet they often face unique challenges related to access to healthcare, cultural stigma, and historical trauma. Culturally relevant approaches to HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, and treatment are essential for addressing the epidemic in Indigenous communities. By partnering with Indigenous leaders and organizations, integrating traditional healing practices, and respecting Indigenous knowledge and values, we can develop solutions that are responsive to the needs and realities of Indigenous peoples.
