Marginalized populations, including racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, people who inject drugs, and sex workers, face disproportionate rates of HIV/AIDS due to intersecting social, economic, and structural factors. To achieve meaningful progress in ending the epidemic, we must address these disparities head-on by advocating for policies that promote equity, expanding access to culturally competent healthcare services, and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities in decision-making processes.
