Gender inequality remains a significant barrier to ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic, with women and girls disproportionately affected by the disease due to factors such as economic dependence, lack of access to education and healthcare, and gender-based violence. Empowering women and girls through education, economic opportunities, and access to sexual and reproductive health services is essential for reducing their vulnerability to HIV/AIDS and promoting gender equality. By prioritizing women’s rights and addressing the root causes of gender inequality, we can create a more just and equitable society where all individuals can live healthy, fulfilling lives.
