Gender-responsive HIV/AIDS programming recognizes and addresses the unique needs and vulnerabilities of women and girls, who are disproportionately affected by the epidemic. By integrating gender analysis into program design, promoting women’s empowerment, and addressing structural barriers to health, we can improve outcomes for women and girls and advance gender equality. By prioritizing gender-responsive approaches in HIV/AIDS programming, we can create more equitable and inclusive societies where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
